My visits to Nepal1992 My first visit to Nepal was a flight to Kathmandhu, a few days spent there, and then an organized trekking tour in the Annapurna region of Nepal. On this occasion this was a camping tour, using tents except for in Kathmandu.

2004 Once again the entry point to Nepal is Kathmandhu. I spent a few extra days there before joining an organized trek to the Gokyo Lakes and Gokyo Ri, and then on to Gorak Shep, Kalar Patar and Everest Base Camp. This time the trek was based on accomodation in Lodges, there are so many that there's no need to camp is this area of Nepal.

All the images currently in the Nepal Gallery were taken on the second of these visits. They were all taken on slide film and then scanned into my computer.
